Bullseye Precision Pistol

What is Bullseye Precision Pistol

Bullseye Precision Pistol is a fun, family-friendly event where you test your accuracy and speed with a handgun. There are three divisions, .22 caliber, centerfire, and .45 caliber. Nearly any pistol is allowed to compete. Some common entries include Ruger Mark Series, Browning Buckmark, and Smith & Wesson K-22. Red dot sights or iron sights are both permitted.

Any member wishing to participate must bring their own firearm and ammunition, their own ear and eye protection, a staple gun and masking tape for targets, an ink pen, and a chamber flag. Chamber flags are available for $1 if needed. Also, if you're interested in giving this a shot (pun intended) and don't have a firearm to compete with, let us know and we can help you out your first time.

We hold shoots once a month and all members are invited! The events are published on the Club's Calendar and begin at 9:30am on the event days. Please arrive about 15 minutes early to get set up. For more information, please refer to the NRA's Precision Pistol Rulebook by clicking HERE. Contact Trustee and Match Director Aaron Bruns at 567.644.5501 for more information.

The Leagues

There are two leagues in which a shooter may compete.

The Bullseye League

  • This league requires that shooting be done with one hand in the traditional fashion.

The Precision League

  • This league allows the handgun to be held with both hands.

Each stage is worth 100 points, totaling 300 for a perfect score. There are a total of 30 rounds fired per course. Typically, three courses are shot per event, totaling 900 total available points and 90 rounds fired. The cost is $2 per relay or $5 for all three.
