The woman warrior jamboree is a time for women over the age of 18 to come together for a weekend of camping and enjoying the great outdoors. We hold this event the last weekend in April on the grounds of the Sportsmen's Association.
This event is a time to relax, share experiences with each other, and enjoy fellowship. Everyone has a story to tell and we get to tell them around a fire with other women. We also partake in archery, shooting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
This event is supported by grants and donations from the Ohio Department of Wildlife and Natural Resources, the Mercer County Sportsmen's Association, and other local businesses and is free to all women. All equipment, food, and drinks are provided. The only thing you need to bring is somewhere to sleep, which could be a camper, tent, or just a sleeping bag.
